Its the dumbest shit i have ever heard.

when i was much younger all i had to cook with was an electric kettle. You know, the ones used to boil water.
I would cook all sorts of stuff in it.

I would buy freezer bags, put any fish in the bag, dont matter if its a whole fish or a fillet, add seasoning and a some butter, tie a loose knot in the bag (Loose so steam can escape)and put it in the kettle full of water. Leave the end of the bag hanging out of the kettle and DONT close the lid tight.
boil the kettle a few times leaving a couple of mins between each boil. You got a perfectly cooked trout or fillet.

Put some butter in a bag and then add some eggs, do the same as with the fish..You got poached eggs (The butter just stops things sticking to the bags.)

Chicken breast in sauce. Same routine, Do it in a bag like the above, just boil the kettle more.

Rice.
Put pin pricks in the bag, add rice, boil in the kettle...You got boiled rice.

"But the kettle will taste funny" Put some lemon water in the kettle, boil, empty and wash it out. You got a clean and just as importantly a clean tasting kettle.

FFS you can cook all sorts of stuff in a kettle.

I have no electrical outlets to plug into. That's my situation. No crockpot, just a propane burner and a miniature grill.

When I diet I purchase Wick-approved foods. It's cheaper, healthy, and good for you. Follow the stickers in the supermarket.

I do also have a kettle but I'd like to go beyond boiling.

Ok if you got a pot you can cook rice, boil eggs, boil water to make Oatmeal or Grits ect.

Rice is cheap and goes a long way to filling a empty belly on a budget.

If you have woods around you, you CAN gather fallen sticks and branches to grill with. You just can't use pressure treated wood. Search YT for bushcraft videos. Super helpful. Spray your pans with cooking spray or use a little oil and they won't stick as bad. Buy cheap cuts of meat, and peppers and make kebabs....One pot meals....Not difficult.

Its not boiling. Its using the kettle as a Bane Marie (Google it)

All the stuff i mentioned , cooked in a bag , will not be boiled, It will be heated and cooked. It will not be watery because it is cooked in a bag, It will hold all the natural goodness of the food cooked.

I am an expert at keeping my phone charged up and I can tell you all about it and how the battery and alternator relate.

It's not easy and your alternator must be healthy.
Also, I have a folding solar panel which is wonderful.

Even with all that it's still a bit difficult to stay charged and online all day and night.

I once knew a guy that was homeless in a tent (no car) yet he set up a solar panel to a car battery using some kind of converter, and he would charge his laptop.

Nonetheless, ELECTRICITY is required, n’est ce pas? Whether it’s alternating current or direct current is not the issue. It’s still electricity.

So what you’re telling us, OP, is that you’re living out of your car.

It would have been better to say, “I’m living out of my car. Looking for some creative ways to cook hot food with little or no electricity.”
