Missing and appearing lighters?

One day I found 2 lighters in my pocket and I was astonished where the one came from. I knew I didn't find one or take someone else's.

A week later it happened again.

A week later my friend had 3 lighters, yellow, black and blue. He gave the yellow away at the same place that was closed the previous day. He lost the black one in a chair he thought but couldn't find it. He lost the blue one and went out and asked a guy for a light who has never asked him for a light. The guy handed it to him and he recognized it was his because he said he always makes a deep scratch on it with his thumbnail. He told the guy it was his and he asked how he knew and he explained. The guy who had it said he asked him yesterday for a light and he gave it to him and he forgot it so he kept it.

The place was closed the day before and he had it hours previously.
