Ummm that happened June 24 1994.

One of the guys on the airplane was retiring. His family was there watching, this was a practice fini flight for his retirement ceremony.

Pilot in command was a known problem. Almost killing people many times in the past and pushing the envelope.

I dated a gal whose dad was a Buff pilot. I wish, oh how I wish I would have taken the time to pick his brain on what it was like to fly one. Too young and dumb at the time to figure out what a book of knowledge he was.

No one survived that and from the audio, the younger pilots were telling him to stop. PIC was a seasoned pilot. He was doing a suicide run. A final fuck you to the military and the poor schmucks on board for the ride to ground.
