Okay, so let’s say you found such a crystal yourself up in the mountains and you dug it up yourself.

Now what...?

What do you DO with it..?

It’s a conduit for energy, but these claims that it can be infused, imbued, or otherwise “charged” with energy are spurious claims in my Mind. I’m not saying it’s not possible.... I wouldn’t be asking these questions if I felt that way. But I simply cannot see how a piece of “glass stone” can be made to hold “magical powers”.

But that also gets back to an earlier point:

If a person has developed their own Mind, Consciousness, and ability to harness energy and affect physical reality so that they can “charge” an object with that energy, then I submit the person doesn’t need the object at all.

But for now, let’s stick to “What do you do with a piece of naturally occurring crystal?”

Well for one, I use them in healing. They can be used to clear space. One old crone that I know has one on the end of a staff and uses it for water and metal dowsing. You can put them in liquids and potions. You can use them to ward off negative energy...

They're core to old traditions, a place to connect with the other world. Where the veil is thinner, etc.
Very much like a temple. For some specifics I'll have to google up things, so you may as well do your own research and head down a rabbit hole.

Interestingly; temples, circles, or any place dedicated to this purpose functions similarly. Taking a potential space and using our intent to define what it is for.
Finding places that are naturally already suited to the purpose - this is like a grove. It is also very much why we see temples built on the sites of old temples, even cross culture after conquest or over hundreds of years. The place is already suitable.
