I would be so much less than I presently am had I not taken in the writing of so many great minds over time.

Growing up, reading and learning was beaten into us. (not literally of course)

You've heard this repeated ad nauseum but...
Books are sources of knowledge and knowledge is power. And once you've got that info in your head, it can never be taken away. Books are representations of ideas and that is why they are so 'dangerous'

There's 'reading', and then there's 'doing'.

Those, usually, who cannot 'do', end up writing about it.

For those who'll eventually 'do'.

It's a lovely exchange, really.

Sign of the times we live in LT. I honestly don't know if I could survive as a child today. Technology and the flow of data is moving so fast now, and living today is literally sensory overload. It's no wonder that most people now have to have it delivered to them in snippets.

I've fallen victim to it myself at times. when I open a book, the first few chapters have to grab me or I'm out.

So many people now are having to find ways to shut out the data overload. To decompress and just get back to something more natural.

That partly explains why so many now are returning back to a nature based system of living

I think possibly that part of the reason that there are currently so many outlandish beliefs is that many are so tuned into their cellphones, Facebook, false paradigm beliefs that they remove themselves from the wisdom and teaching that nature has to offer, it’s timeless teaching by observing it, making mental notes of it’s ebbs and flows, and acting upon upon that knowledge accordingly…

Of that I would agree.
Why live in a place that thrives on negative energy.
If you are trying to learn to control that which you have,
and you are trying to use it for positive re-enforcement, then
going to a place that helps you center yourself and allow
yourself to expand is a much better idea. However, going to a
place (New York, Detroit, or any other location where anger thrives)
will not help you improve yourself. And the more that you are able
to ground yourself, the more stable your powers and confidence
will be.
To help create good for others, you must first be able to
create good/positive energy within yourself.
Learning what your gifts are and how to work them with the
power of Nature, will allow your powers to grow to the
extent that you are able to control them.

I swear by the Gods. Some people just love being slammed upside the head with a green 2x4.
