The more you study it and examine it, the more you begin to see the logical fallacies, the contradictions, the misdirection, the foundational errors of the doctrines. Then as one begins to expand their understanding of religion, the studies grow into philosophy and new age beliefs. As a person’s Awareness and understanding of “God” and consciousness continues to expand, we realize how utterly ludicrous and Mind-imprisoning religion is. Just as we once believed in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny, we graduate beyond it. As the years pass, those beliefs shrink into oblivion. “I studied my way out of it.” Beautiful!  Every man and woman approves themselves first and foremost. What else would anyone ever say - I got dumber? For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. Romans 1:18-23 They that reject God instead worship nature. They that reject the Creator instead worship Creation and/or themselves. Ultimately, it's just about your heart- what is your Authority- God or Yourself? We all choose every moment of every day. My authority is myself.
