When I saw getting and opening those was becoming a trend on youtube, I became grateful for charlatans

Her and her friends bought it online so they could do one of those 'unboxing' videos for youtube. It didn't go well. They got it home and almost overnight things went straight to hell. Poltergeist activity, people being attacked and scratched. Things moving on their own. Doors opening and lights going on and off. It got so bad that the family had to move out for awhile. Shadow beings. Full bodied apparitions.

They called in a psychic who got to the location, pulled into the drive way and immediately left. She didn't even get out of her car. She told the family to just get out of the house.

I was contacted and asked if I could help. I worked with two catholic priests to help get rid of the spirits. One was nearly beheaded by something thrown at him and I was almost smashed into a wall by a dining room table.

It took all of us but we finally got it done.

Got to admit....the image of the psychic pulling up and just nope-ing the fuck out...

People don't believe this stuff is real until it bites them in the ass.

Old asylum ghost tour went on a while back. First thing the guide did was gather everyone together and explain why you "don't be a dick" - then showed the photos of injuries sustained by those who ignored the advice...

Haven't experienced the kinetic attempts, but been swiped at in other ways

I'll just say this. If you study and work with the occult, you had better know exactly what the hell you are doing and who and what you might be potentially interacting with. It's not a game. This stuff is very real folks. Some people find that out the hard way.

Had more the physical effects. From sick enough brought to ya knees, to one sneaky bastard that got me once (life flashed before ya eyes thing) unawares, but caught a bit of flak when it went for round 2

See this is why you need the protection and shielding. When you make any kind of contact you are opening a door. When they discover that they can interact with you, you are going to potentially have lots of new friends lol

One of the sick ones was amusing, in that asylum I mentioned. Wandered into a room/cell and was suddenly hit with waves of it.
Guide wandered past and saw me kneeling.
"Oh...that's "female patients room"...yeah...she doesn't like men"


Course there's a lot of variety out there.

There is one experience that I had many years ago that I rarely talk about because it makes me uncomfortable. I'll mention it here because you bring up a good point about needing protection from even non malicious spirits.

When I was 16 one of my friends had a brother who committed suicide. He hung himself in his bedroom one night after his girlfriend dumped him.

He was a very troubled young man and quite frankly he was not a very nice guy. He was very leery and grabby with all the girls around him. He was a creep basically. I only met him a couple of times but every time I did I got a real uncomfortable feeling.

Anyway about a year after his death, things started happening in the house. The girl couldn't have friends over because they all said that the brother was coming to them in the night and messing with them.

I went over there one time to spend the night and I had the distinct impression that I was being watched while I took a shower. I knew it was him. The feeling was unmistakable.

As I got out of the shower, I saw a black shadow standing behind me in the mirror and I felt fingertips on my lower back. It was an actual touch.

I got the feeling that he was very confused about where he was and what was going on and that he was looking for help.

I was totally freaked the hell out and I noped myself into my clothes and out the door.

I never heard what happened after that and I never went back to her house.

Bloody bell...rest in peace young man.

One of the ladies who'd made the trip with us for the tour was susceptible to that. She let out a yelp a couple of times but it was in one place she frequently experienced it and stayed close to her hubby.
Story was it was a delivery driver who'd attacked a young nurse at the turn of the century.

It doesn't surprise me. I've heard basically that same story many times from people over the years. Some people are more open to experiencing the other side than others. I've always been fascinated by the fact that some people can go into a haunted location and see ghosts whereas another person can go to the same location and experience absolutely nothing.

I had a very interesting question posed to me this morning.

"Since you believe in reincarnation and that you can reincarnate into any time you want, where will you go when you reincarnate?"

I had to think about that one for a bit. I guess if I went back, I'd go to ancient Egypt.

Where do the rest of you guys plan on going? :D

I know I was pissed when someone else beat me to being first in a secluded area....Armour of unbelief would screw with the frequency heh.

Things got more active during the later portions - extended part of the tour that went into the early am and only included about 6 or 7 of us.

Think sometimes it even has to do with a person's natural affinities...while chatting with hubby mentioned above before the tour he said his wife was prone to touch sensation while he himself was more visual

The time when we've mastered this shit, so teaching time and place hoping is elementary.

Yes I have worked with past lives for myself and others. I've done regressions for people. I'm something of a student of Brian Weiss. He practically wrote the book on past lives.
His mirrors of time book/cd really helped me to make connections with some of my own past life experiences.

Oh nice. I've been working on people who've had past life stuff come up, but never went about it in a deliberate fashion.

As for other people I've had some interesting ones over the years. I've never encountered anyone claiming to be King Tut or Julius Caesar or Hitler. It's just ordinary people having lived ordinary lives. Mundane everyday stuff.

Some of the more interesting ones have been people who have had lives in ancient cultures. Some of which we apparently have no knowledge of now.

Atlantis comes up a lot. So does Egypt and India. Some of the most interesting ones I've seen come from people remembering lives as Native Americans. I had one where this woman seemed to actually live off planet in another life.

The regression work I've done has had more to do with healing past life traumas. 99% of people who think a problem is coming from a past life where the problem is actually in the current life. But you do have a very small number of people who actually do have something that has carried over from a past life. It's usually caused by an extremely violent death or an extremely intense emotional trauma. Something so intense that it has imprinted itself on the psyche.

I had one guy who had an intense fear of water. He couldn't be around lakes, streams or even swimming pools. He had this fear since he was a child and noone could ever figure out why.

We did a regression and it turned out that he had actually drowned at sea when his boat sank back in the early 1920s. When he found this out, his fear completely vanished almost immediately.

I had another one where a woman remembered a past life where she died in carriage accident back in the 1850s. She was actually able to go to the little town where she died and she verified every detail of her story.

Find that fascinating the fear vanished instantly. I've had some interesting reactions, but nothing quite that..."vivid"
