I learned from my mother and grandmother. Grandmother because she had recipes she wanted to pass on, and my mother because she didn't like to cook and wanted the kids to do it for her lol

Aunt and nan taught me a few things...but a man can't live on corn and mash potatoes haha.
Mum did like to bitch about cooking tho, so can get that. Did not want to teach tho.
Remember when I made up the dish for her I was doing as my final "here I can chef, give me the bit of fucking paper"...she refused to eat it chuckle

Ah memories.

I've touched on using ouija boards briefly on this thread and in other places.

I don't like them and I won't even have one in my home. I've personally seen what can go wrong with using them. It's a perfect example of what I mentioned a few pages back about walking into Central Park at night blindfolded and shouting out, "Hey I'm here come find me!" You never know what will come through. You open a door with your intent and you're going to get attention. The results are more powerful when it's more than one person using the board in a ritual and the results, like most things in the occult world, depend as much upon the person doing the working as the working itself. I've seen one person use the board with no results and another use it once and get all manner of things happening. There seems to be an amplification effect going on with people who are more 'in tune' - meaning their own internal energy is part of what opens a path.

I also believe the board itself is a cursed object. If you know anything about sympathetic magic, you know that all it takes is for one board to be cursed or attached with negative energy and every other board like it will carry that same energetic pattern. Especially true if the designer or maker of that first board set out with that intent. To make a cursed object.

Depends what you're tapping into.
There's a reason thousands of people claim they were Cleopatra in a past life (could be possible considering time lines, multiple selves incarnated etc, but you get the gist)

Plenty of tricksters like to fuck with people. Can't be paranoid and not trust anything/anyone but follow the boy scout motto - be prepared.

Was a nice sync yesterday- finally went and paid the neighbour a visit and turns out I was wrong. She's Maori and trained in that from her family line, tho I was invited to a gathering on the weekend with an Aboriginal elder so...*shrug*

Anywho...she invited me to check out some of her channeled artwork and aside from a bloody breathtaking ice dragon (strong sync) I couldn't tear my eyes from, the other was a red/fire sword =)

Other that grabbed me was a painting she'd done of a sacred lake not to far from here...and was positively delighted when I pointed at a small portion and said "there they are"

Held a stone from machu picchu to. Strong image of standing atop a ziggurat like structure...tho on the less pleasant side...those musket balls fucking hurt

Pine tree symbolism

"Pine trees are cultural symbols all around the world! Going back centuries, these special trees have a role in numerous cultures and folklore tales. For Native Americans, they represent wisdom and longevity. To other cultures, they represent fertility and life. A long time ago, in Northern Europe, pine trees (or firs) were decorated to celebrate the birth of Frey, the Norse god of the sun and fertility, at the end of the year. The tops of the trees were lit because in winter as the days were getting shorter. Northern people thought that doing so the light will attract the sun. This is also the origin of the Christmas tree.

“In the countries around the world where pine trees grow, many legends, beliefs, and folklore surround this magnificent tree.” Aside from representing fertility, wisdom and longevity, the pine tree is a symbol of peace. Wherever this special tree grows, it will always be a tree that is featured in legends, and a tree that gives love, and hope. They are also source of inspiration, as Paul Cézanne, the famous painted, was inspired by Pine trees when painting “The Big Trees,” which is still planted in his garden at Aix-en-Provence."
