Well it depends upon what definition of God you are going by.
If you define God as intelligent force that just instinctually creates and we're the ones who define what aspects of that is 'good and evil' - and that force works through us to create what we call 'reality', then yes "God" does work miracles through our system of belief and path of least resistance.

The law of return, or the law of attraction, 'God', works whether one believes it or not. So you have a choice. You can either create by default (which is what most people do), or you can take creative control by realizing and utilizing these laws.

One way or another, you are going to create your own reality through your intention and thoughts and beliefs. You can't not create this way.

Doesn't work that way I'm afraid. We're not superheroes. We can't fly or turn people into frogs.

Somewhat related is the idea of Bi-Phasic sleep. Where "First sleep" and "second sleep" were a thing.
I've always said there's only one thing better than sleep, and that's going BACK to sleep. How good is that moment of waking, knowing you don't need to be up yet and snuggling back in?

Well turns out there's evidence that we as humans did this fairly commonly in the night. This was before the industrial/capitalist revolution that introduced electricity and set working hours, as well as (eventually) the 8/8/8 system of living. Being 8hrs work, 8hrs 'play' and 8hrs sleep.

There's research around finding thousands of references to pre-industrial revolution sleeping patterns being quite different and far from set. It goes in to associations with insomnia and those who work better at night being 'throwbacks', although it was not very many generations ago.
