Confession i refused to watch a show with talking trees and elves but then gave it a chance around the time season 5 came out. binged everything in one week.

My question is, does whatever this "craft" thing you speak of deliver any tangible results for you? Is it actually useful, or does it just make you feel special and mysterious to dance naked in the woods?

I'm not at all interested in religious ideas, whether conventional or otherwise. I'm interested in truth. One of the hallmarks of truth is that it works. Electricity is true. It works. It can be harnessed to produce useful effects. Belief isn't required, only understanding.

Is "craft" like that, and if so, how?

Does the Craft work for me?

Yes it does. It has opened my mind to possibilities and expanded my awareness of the universe around me to a degree that I never would have achieved otherwise. The fact that we actually, literally create our world around us, each of us, through our thoughts and words. The fact that everything is connected and all apart of the same substance.

You asked about tangible results. What you are asking is if it works for material matters. Love, money, power. Actual real world 'stuff'
The short answer is yes. There is literally nothing you cannot be, do or have if you can just get past the gate keeper of your own mind. That is a universal law. We call it the law of Return. Some call it the Law of Attraction. Wiccans call it the threefold law but it all means the same thing.

You create through your words, thoughts and actions and what you focus on, what you believe in, what you expect, comes back to you. This law is universal and it operates independent of the the Craft. It is the underlying principal of all belief systems, including all magical systems.

The Craft is just a means of bringing into focus the mental and physical energy to utilize this law. We're all creators. I just do it consciously and not by default.

To quote Pilate, what is truth? Well the Truth is whatever you decide is true for you.

Tangible results.

Yes I've brought in money and material items, I've healed and hexed. I've kept away danger from myself and loved ones. The Craft works for me because it's not a matter of belief. I know it's real. I've seen it work with my own eyes. Faith and Belief always carry the connotation of doubt underneath. So, I don't believe. I don't have faith. I don't need them, because I know. It's true for me.

Why do you pray (deal with energies) to a God that is impossible to truly fathom or articulate? Or do you believe that you're capable as a lowly human of fully knowing the entirety of an entity that even your own sacred writings say you cannot experience the full presence of?

Also me. I'm so pale I'm practically transparent. The sun burns me rapidly and aggressively. Pale white folks unite! Let us show pride! wait... I'm racist now aren't I.

Each of us wind up creating 'God' in our own image precisely so we can attempt to understand the mystery.

I think part of us being here, is so that mystery can understand US. And in understanding us, learn to understand itself.
