This is a good way of approaching fuckery, although easier said than done in many cases. e.g. slowly trying to recover from sickness or injury that in and of itself prevents new stages in a life. It has to play out, there is no instant fix and anyone saying otherwise simply lacks understanding of the situation or no respect the reality of things. This also excludes scenarios where people other than ourselves are actively affecting a situation, which relates to the punching in the face comment. "I'm going to be a sprinter!" Someone doesn't like that so they break your legs. Probably preordained and they were working for the greater good, right? :P Maybe yes, other stuff? Sometimes. Bloody things. Coz reasons, probably.
