Beaten and abused by my father

I hear you.

My father abused me too when I was young.
I didn't speak about it until I was in my 50's.

As far as rape and domestic violence, it's traumatic for the victim. And there are steps toward recovery, however, if you are still around the abuser you are in danger.

Many abusers will kill the victim to hide their secrets. This is a fact.

He doesn't know that I have found out about it and I was told not to discuss it with him. It has messed me up.

"Hypnotism" is about as fake as lie detectors are. Wouldnt trust such "memories."

Also, the person "hypnotizing" you is most likely a nut themselves. Thread: Psychiatrist or Psychologist, the craziest person in the room is them.

I was never touched inappropriately but did endure years of psychological abuse by my alcoholic father until I knocked him out cold when I was about 19. I became a man that day and Moved out of the state shortly after.

I hate calling it abuse... I don't consider myself a victim but actually quite fortunate that I was provided an opportunity to become a man by defeating a great enemy

I'm proud of what I did and I recommend you do the same.

I am so sorry this has happened to you - especially by someone who you should be able to trust.

Of utmost importance now is protecting yourself physically, mentally and emotionally while you still have to live under the roof of your Father.

You did not say how old you are so I am hoping you do not have too long before you can move out of the house because you will not be feeling safe until that happens.

Look around for some groups that will support you. If you feel you need to talk with someone look for some Helplines that deal with abuse and speak about it. It will help you to process what happened to you and to Heal.

I would agree with others who have advised not bringing this up with your Father. It would just cause undue stress in the family and he would likely deny it.

Did you get a sense of this before it was confirmed? Did you feel uneasy around your Father or feel he could not be trusted? I am just wondering what caused you to have the hypnosis which then unearthed what occured in your early years?

I wouldn't trust your hypnotism 100%. People are being programmed daily by movies on such matters and advertisements subliminally. You could be regressing something you saw on tv. Normally an abuser would continue the act and not stop all of a sudden when you turn 4yrs of age. So tread carefully with that.

I would also suggest moving out from your fathers. If he did do this, then you are not safe there. If he didn't do this, then he is not safe with you in the house.

I take it that you are over the age of 18. Since you said you are an adult.

I was taught how to jerk him off at 5 and fed alcohol at 4 human beings man! Some of em are fucked up. It traumatized me around that issue and I had a 9 year old gyrating on me at one point another broken home from a cousin I just walked away from it all not gonna repeat the cycle!
