Crime has skyrocketed in Vallejo and this may be part of the problem.

Aside from shootings, assaults, and robberies, illegal street shows known as SIDESHOWS have become a big issue in Vallejo.

This Mustang was allegedly involved in a sideshow and a police cruiser gave pursuit. A group of men jumped in the road and blocked the officer, allowing the Mustang to escape.

With a crime rate of 49 per one thousand residents, Vallejo has one of the highest crime rates in America compared to all communities of all sizes - from the smallest towns to the very largest cities. One's chance of becoming a victim of either violent or property crime here is one in 20.
