So that you have this life you have? So that was worth the deaths of millions of indigenous human lives? It was worth the deaths of thousands of innocent children? It was worth destroying whole cultures? It was worth destroying this planet? Yet you f*ck-twats can't understand why the indigenous have had enough? Why they would topple a few stone representations of the very government that spawned all of that destruction? And it wasn't even the only government that did. I am 100% European and even I GET IT! I was born long after the colonization in this country. I had nothing to do with it and have nothing to be ashamed of. And, since I am of native dna, I should also mention that I am also not a victim. My ancestors were, but they are all long dead. I don't expect white people that were born in this land to go somewhere else because the people in power when their ancestors came fucked up the people that already lived here. There are still injustices going on, many native peoples live on reservations without the most basic infrastructure and services. That's something we could do something about, but we don't. Women and children are still being captured, sold and killed. We could do something about that if it wasn't the people with the power to do that are responsible for it in the first place. Reparations and uncolonizing isn't the solution, it will only lead to more problems. Look at South Africa. That didn't go too well. It's time to fix the present, forgive the past and move on TOGETHER. Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak. |

Quoting: Agent 88 Interesting times... Protesters tore down several statues at the Manitoba legislature, including a bust of Queen Elizabeth II, during a heated rally on Canada Day, venting outrage over the discovery of unmarked graves of indigenous schoolchildren. The activists gathered near the legislative building, located in the provincial capital, Winnipeg, to protest on Thursday, at one point descending on a nearby monument to Queen Elizabeth II and yanking it to the ground. Hope they learn she was a hired gun of the Dutch slave traders rather than helping the RCC. Quoting: Wayfaring Stranger When the same system was in the US then it should dawn on a few people that the Church was not the boss of the way the schools were run, it was by the will of the Government, they alone allowed European doctors to use the schools as a lab. [link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)] Native American boarding schools, also known as Indian Residential Schools, were established in the United States during the early 19th and mid 20th centuries with a primary objective of "civilizing" or assimilating Native American children and youth into Euro-American culture. In the process, these schools denigrated Native American culture and made children give up language and religion.[1] At the same time the schools provided a basic education in Euro-American subjects. These boarding schools were first established by Christian missionaries of various denominations, who often started both missions and schools on reservations,[2] especially in the lightly populated areas of the West. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the government paid religious orders to provide basic education to Native American children on reservations. The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) later founded additional boarding schools based on the assimilation model, usually located off reservations and which sometimes drew children from a variety of tribes. Some off reservation schools, such as St. Joseph's Indian School in South Dakota, continue to operate. Children were typically immersed in European-American culture. Schools forced removal of indigenous cultural signifiers, cutting the children's hair, having them wear American-style uniforms, forbidding them from speaking their indigenous languages, and replacing their tribal names with English-language names (saints names under some religious orders) for use at the schools, as part of assimilation and to "Christianize" them.[3] The schools were usually harsh and sometimes deadly, especially for younger children who had been forcibly separated from their families and forced to abandon their Native American identities and cultures.[3] Investigations of the later twentieth century have revealed many documented[4] cases of sexual, manual, physical and mental abuse occurring mostly in church-run schools.[5] The National Museum of the American Indian also notes that some students had good memories of their school days, having learned skills and made lifelong friends. But in summarizing the recent scholarship from Native perspectives, Dr. Julie Davis argues: Boarding schools embodied both victimization and agency for Native people and they served as sites of both cultural loss and cultural persistence. These institutions, intended to assimilate Native people into mainstream society and eradicate Native cultures, became integral components of American Indian identities and eventually fueled the drive for political and cultural self-determination in the late 20th century.[6] Since those years, tribal nations have carried out political activism and gained legislation and federal policy that gives them the power to decide how to use federal education funds, how they educate their children, and the authority to establish their own community-based schools. Tribes have also founded numerous tribal colleges and universities on reservations. Tribal control over their schools has been supported by federal legislation and changing practices by the BIA. The largest boarding schools have closed. By 2007, most of the schools had been closed down and the number of Native American children in boarding schools had declined to 9,500. The remaining ones are primarily under Native American control.[citation needed] [link to sputniknews.com (secure)] Ten churches were vandalized with orange and red paint in Alberta on Canada Day (1 July), with authorities linking the acts to recent discoveries of unmarked graves at the sites of former residential schools. Most vandalised churches were Catholic, as coloured handprints and the number 215 were left imprinted on their premises between Wednesday night and Thursday morning, according to Calgary Police. In one case, paint was thrown inside the church through a broken window. Gonna assume it works for you as it's not your city. As a resident of where it happened its complete bullshit & I say that fully hating the queen. We in Winnipeg have highest per captia of aboriginals & all the newer generations do is blame there lack of morals, poor judgement, crime & bullshit on the residential schools. I will full admit that those past generations need to be compensated to the fullest. However those litteral savages who live off of welfare & do nothing but hate the white man are going todo nothing more than the USAs amazing version of BLM. The newer generations of aboriginals in our country need to be held accountable for their actions & shitty decisions as opposed to just blaming another culture from generations ago. Being two plus generations removed means it no lo get directly impacts you & and as such should man the fuck up & stop blaming others for their shitty lives. & no, I don't hate or dislike aboriginals, there woman are attractive af. Their moral compass & lack of intelligence in regards to blame placement need to be corrected just like any other races who are gonna act like fools while placing blame on shit that doesn't or hasn't directly affected them. Do a little research on aboriginal gangs in Winnipeg, a great YouTube video on it exists. Also do a little research on the history of the city it happened to before opening your uninformed mouth & you'll see the crime ridden shit hole half of the city has become of ideology like that. |

But it isn't as simple as leaving the commonwealth. Quoting: KeepingItReal ALL of our laws, everything our government does is underpinned by the Crown, take that away and the government automatically becomes illigitimate. Our constitution becomes null and void. The courts would have no authority to do anything, the whole system would fail. Military and police swear oaths to the Crown. The existence of the Crown and the role it plays in commonwealth countries is an obstacle to NWO rule and for several years now the attack on that institution is evident. Before we can get rid of the Crown, we would have to prepare something to put in its place, amend the constitution and the structure of Courts, Military and Law Enforcement. That doesn't happen overnight, and you would need a competent government, competent and ethical opposition and politicians that put the country first. Unfortunately we have the most corrupt and incompetent government and opposition in the history of the country that hates everything Canada and Canadians are (or were). Personally I would rather keep the head Bitch at the helm than give these traitors a chance to rewrite everything. The Crown is not the same thing as the Queen and the Royal family. Remove the Crown and our country will fall into anarchy and it could take centuries to fight our way back to having rights and freedoms. The 'crown' is just a concept. It can be ignored and everything can carry on as before. Any changes can be in a measured fashion, as it goes. Humpty Dumpty comes to mind. |
