I see my neighbors put down all kinds of weed preventative fertilizers to control them. I just let them go and harvest them. The spring leaves are super crisp and great in salads, and then as summer rolls on they develop into rather large plants which I pull and use to make Dandelion Wine. I also dry it and mix it with other herbs and medicinal plants I cultivate for teas. They're a great plant, too bad they are hated by the normies.
