what is bowing?
Bowing originated as a gesture of subordination, as lowering the head leaves the bower vulnerable. This was particularly the case in Asian cultures such as that of samurai Japan.

Bowing to other human beings is frowned upon in Muslim cultures as all human beings are considered equal and bowing is only supposed to be done to God in Islam. Similarly, in Judaism the second of the Ten Commandments is generally interpreted to forbid bowing before anyone but God.

Hi Zorba, this is what your looking for. It is what you have met in others posts. Namcaste.

Namasté or Namaskar (नमस्ते [nʌmʌsˈteː] from internal sandhi between namaḥ and te) is an Indian greeting or parting phrase as well as a gesture. It is commonly used by Hindus and Buddhists.

Taken literally, it means "I bow to you". The word is derived from Sanskrit (namas): to bow, obeisance, reverential salutation, and (te): "to you".[1]

When spoken to another person, it is commonly accompanied by a slight bow made with hands pressed together, palms touching and fingers pointed upwards, in front of the chest. The gesture can also be performed wordlessly and carry the same meaning.

I learned a different meaning to Namaste/Namaskar; Greeting the God-spark within you.

Only people who have a strong connection with theit inner being, with much inner-strength, can do this sincerely, without hurting themselves. People who have conquered their inner-ennemy.

The others are faking, acting like slaves, ready for betrayal.
Full of self-importance, thinking they know much, not able yet how to use the freedom, giving their freedom away, not to be trusted.

I am looking for people who lomg to take their freedom back. Who have discernment. So I can help them.

Bowing goes back to when we were monkeys, look at wolves, they are a perfect example of social behaviour, its not so much about respect as it is about subservience, the one who bows is the one communicating clearly that he means no harm or aggression, kneeling before a king saluting your superior its about knowing and accepting your place in a collective.

Now I tell you what I consider bowing.

Surrendering to your inner-teacher, accepting everything, accepting your shadow-side, showing who you are, trusting life, not-fighting, going with the flow, not making plans, feeling it all, following the signs, aligning your free will, being the God-spark.

Do not listen to me, most agree I am crazy.

You were there when I decided to show the world how free I am. Taking my freedom back, choosing my own mission.

And now I have to practice, letting my soul lead the body.

If the spirit in me meets the spirit in you then you've known me all your life.

While some may see it as subservience (which is likely an implied "ego centric" judgement - think about the indignation you feel when you think about what subservience means to you) and therefore cannot move beyond thier feelings about it ... it seems rational that if all men bowed and honoured the Divine spark present in every single human being we'd automatically all become equal.

Hey, lol, I'm a super duper gooder kinda bow-er, and I just loves it when ever I gets to do some of them fully, and grand like sweeping ones too.

Why, just the other day, and while I was on me mail route, this little kid, Kevin (about 4 or 5) came running down the drive to get his Mom's mail for her... and one of his shoelaces was untied. So, I said, "Hi there Kev... gooder to see ya... and hey, about that shoelace there... do ya need some help with it or something?"

And he stopped, looked at me dead in me eyes, and came back with, "I'm old enough now to know how to tie my own shoelaces Dennis."

And so then I jumped out of me mail truck and did one of them more than full sweeping kinda bows to him, and said, "Of course you are Kev... and gooder for you too ya little tough guy." And then we both fell out laughing, and as he grabbed the mail from me and ran back to his house... shoelace still untied, lol... so there!
