If the spirit in me meets the spirit in you then you've known me all your life.

While some may see it as subservience (which is likely an implied "ego centric" judgement - think about the indignation you feel when you think about what subservience means to you) and therefore cannot move beyond thier feelings about it ... it seems rational that if all men bowed and honoured the Divine spark present in every single human being we'd automatically all become equal.
