Russia and China are coordinating military exercises to threaten not only Taiwan but also Hawaii, according to a senior Japanese defense official who warned the United States to beware of a Pearl Harbor-style surprise attack.

China moves a muscle and the dam will break, literally. Commiefornia's economy is bigger than Russia's. Why would they risk being knocked back over Taiwan? What would they gain?

China has had a bunch of their farmland ripped up by flooding. Brazil is have the worse crop failures in decades due to record cold. Food is going to be at a premium for a billion hungry Chinese.

War will complicate things. China has been stockpiling supplies but when those are used up then what?

China imports 80% of their energy. The US wouldn't even have to get into a huge dust up with them. A simple blockade cutting off their energy imports would do the trick.

The supply chain blockades or the floating container vessels are just a shroud of disguise there would be a lot of eyebrows being raised if the United States had such a large naval presence for no reason in the Pacific
