I just read the stupidest LA Times article

They were talking about homelessness, first they said "homelessness is about poverty" then they said with some financial aid and the availability of jobs right now it couldn't possibly be because there's a lack of money

So then they say, we all know homelessness isn't because poverty, "homelessness is about community" that people choose to be in tent cities because they get to talk with others under the starry night sky for emotional support

But they conclude with their final reason, "homelessness is about overpopulation".

FOR FUCK SAKE STOP TEACHING BULLSHIT

"Homelessness is about drugs" 90% they are homeless because their drug addiction interferes with their ability to hold a job which tends to be incompatible with housing which is why they live on the streets, usually in large tent communities because ba dealer lives in one of those tents and it's convenient to live by the dealer and it's also convenient for whatever trade and if jobs they exchange and security and what not. They don't want responsibility, though they'll tell you a big story about getting better if it means more free shit. In the end though homelessness is about society as a whole and that the problems that we think just disappear never do disappears, nothing disappears it just accumulates somewhere else and some poor punk eventually swallows everyone's accumulated problems converted and repackaged as whatever negativity led then to drugs to begin with.

A lot of homeless people aren't gonna get better, society fucked them up and failed them and sadly I would advise helping them out of pity because it's too late for that to be anything but detrimental.

Homelessness is a direct representation of the shit society we are at large and the stupid ass decisions to hide the ugly truth with bullshit ass articles that help no one.
