Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80500916 like: Thomas Jefferson said Jesus was not the son of God. US made treaties with Indians and then broke those treaties. Southern states passed laws to prevent black people from voting. Biden won. I learned that in school in the early 2000s. I didn't learn that Native tribes had oral histories of doing the most horrendous tortures imaginable to each other, that segregation was as bad in most places in the north- and slums worse, than in the south (also many of the Black protests were in the north and MLK was attacked in the north), I never learned that millions of Europeans were kidnapped and made slaves by Muslims for 1000 plus years, I never learned that women were still stoned to death in non-White parts of the world- for being raped or not averting their eyes when a man walked by. Communist slaughters throughout the world were not discussed. Chinese forced abortions- not discussed. The fact that there were Italian and German camps in Texas, comparable on a smaller scale to the Japanese ones in California was not discussed. Will all that and so much more I have learned about on my own also be discussed now?? I learned those things in school. My personal experience was that yankee land 7th grade world history used the same book that 12th grade Texas world history, because a we are great Texas history was taught instead in middle school. We can only hope that the truth is what is taught! I learned a lot of Texas History- or a good bit (I am in Texas) but world history was a quick run through- and only learned surface things- not in depths "horrors". I think- in CRT- they want to teach things like Texas wanting independence from Mexico was all about keeping slaves. Also, they want to teach that the purpose of creating the US Colonies and later founding of the US was because there was a "fear" that slavery was seeing it's last days in the British Empire- even though slavery in Britain was only abolished 40-45 years before it was abolished in the US. Total insanity. Every aspect of our history they want to portray as evil- while not bringing in the evils of the rest of the world- during the same time periods, or now. |

It's coming for YOU AND YOUR FAMILY NOW. |
Arlie27 User ID: 79141158 07/08/2021 01:49 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | These assholes have totally forgotten that they only work for the parents. In the old days, towns would hold a committee and find a teacher to hire for their school. It was the parents who decided who to hire and fire. End of story. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 80581528 07/08/2021 01:50 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | OK- Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80581528 Parents/Grandparents/Caregivers- you NEED to pull your kids OUT of these schools NOW if they aren't following a sensible and educational curriculum that YOU approve of. Teach them at home, online, or start small pod schools in your town and try to get other patriot parents to volunteer to teach them using a rotation schedule. But you have to leave in large numbers in order to be effective. Public schools (in the U.S.) get their funds based on enrollment and attendance. For every child that doesn't go to class, the schools get no money from the state. Simple. Not sure how it goes for U.K. schools, however. If they don't have enough children to teach and don't get that money, they will eventually have to shut down. It is time that we the people remind them of who exactly is in charge. The same goes for any lotteries, businesses, etc. that support public schools. STOP giving them your business/money if they're donating to schools and curriculums that you don't agree with. Please understand that the ONE thing we still have in our favor, is the ability to make or break people/entities/businesses (big and small), who go against us and our wishes. Money makes the world go 'round. Without it, no one can function. ESPECIALLY the 'elite.' Unfortunately in most states homeschooling is not a "legal option" and CPS will be allowed to take children away for "not being provided an education". Foreigners, who increasingly help with the left's army, keep coming in by the millions each year. Not to mention insane leftist Whites keep "spreading out" their populace into "red states". So, states like Texas- that allow homeschooling and don't interfere, will turn into another New York/California. It all starts with local elections from sheriff to dog catcher. If you clean your local house that’s the first layer of protection then secure the state and the fed has very little “social” control. Most recommendations from the education department are guidelines like must cover X Y and Z not how or for how long. So the local board can send worksheets home, invite a speaker on the last day of school etc low low impact or with a leftist board half the semester will be CRT. Local local local control is the key. If enough honorable, sane people can be found. I have leaned that just having an "R" by the name won't be enough. Four out of five county Commissioners in my town are Republicans and I saw them do some very leftist, weak azz stuff. It's insane that the feds have any control over local schools. I really get angry at older generations when I see all that they let happen/escalate. The "Federal Department of Education" should not have been allowed to form in 1979- and local schools should not have become intertwined with federal money. Agree!! ^^ Not enough honorable people are vying for these spots. It seems as though the scummiest dirtbags (in all colors, shapes, sizes, and political affiliations), are the ones who gravitate towards politics or other related positions. I don't mean to offend anyone who IS an upstanding individual and chooses to go into this field. But you are an extremely rare breed if you actually exist. I have extended family who dabbled in politics back in the 70's, 80's and 90's. One of them was mayor of a small town for several years. He was a very decent guy, and did a great job. But as Mayor, he was attacked, sued, smeared, etc. by his political opposition/special interest groups, who got pissed when he didn't 'abide by their agenda.' Another relative held several different positions in his city, and did a great job, as well. He was also a decent guy (even though he was a Democrat, lol). He is now a Republican, because the local Dem party at the time screwed him over ROYALLY by putting one of their 'pets' in a position he was running for. They didn't like him bc he 'followed the rules' and didn't play their games. The last person I know ran for and was elected to his local school board. He served only 1 term; said it was horrendous and you couldn't get anything accomplished unless you sided with the 'majority' (Liberals) on the committee. His own son was being bullied in school around the same time, and the board/district did NOTHING to help them. He ended up pulling his child out of the school, investing in a small condo in a different town about 1/2 hour away, and sending him to a school in that district JUST to get him away from the terrorists. I mean, is this what we have to resort to because the bullies have decided to take over? I think at the very LEAST, 97% of politicians are ruthless and criminal to the core. Many of them began as attorneys and either continue to practice or shift over to politics completely. Either way, most seem to have an innate lack of empathy and psychopathic tendencies, that make them so open to success. They just don't care about anyone else and will step on whoever they need to in order to win. This goes for most CEO's and people in top positions in every field. It is why we are so screwed up as a society. |

It is why we are so screwed up as a society. The man who seeks power and control over the actions of others is the last person who should lead anything. If your a student of early American history several prominent “founders”, and leaders had to be petitioned and practically harassed into representing an area. Yet today can you find one movement pushing for a representative that didn’t first come forward wanting it. Original campaigns in America began with a party creating a short list of candidates unaware they were even considered and the first push of the campaign was creating support and movement to JUST GET THEM to agree to run. ANYONE seen as a professional politician, or man positioning to gain an office was likely run out of town, what happened? Last Edited by Sardonic Dadaist on 07/08/2021 02:26 PM Seeker 2 |
