Never seen this in my life time..that I can remember. And I’m in my 50s for reference. Can anyone get this pinned. There’s a quake thread pinned but it’s only showing one quake. Whatever is happening is unprecedented for NorCal..or at least in my lifetime!

They have upgraded the original quake from a 5.9
To a 6.0. This is the one that started the swarm of smaller quakes/after shocks.

They are aftershocks of the 6.0....bigger ones like that get tons of aftershocks....unless something else is going to pop off even bigger....stay safe

For the record..I wasn’t begging. I was stressing the importance of making sure this doesn't get buried so that I can hopefully gain some insight into what’s going on. And what is happening right now in NORCAL is highly unusual to have this big of an Earthquake swarm in THIS part of Cali. EQ of this magnitude are more common in the Southern part of the State. Your statement is EXACTLY why I’m requesting a pin. This is NOT business as usual in Cali folks.

My wife is in Tahoe with daughter #1. They felt it up there.

I was on the phone with someone in SF today and they felt it twice.

I didn't feel anything on a remote mountain an hour and a half north of SF.

USGS “there’s a 6% chance this is a pre-curser to a larger quake.”
Only 6% makes me feel slightly better.
