If the USGS is so hung up about deleting quakes, why add them in the first place? Why not ignore them altogether?

It's fun to catch them.

There used to be all kinds of big quakes recorded
around China Lake, Calif, right before the first
Gulf War. It turned out that was where the fuel air/
"bunker busters" were being tested for effect.

Once they learn it was the result of nuclear tunnel drillers and not a natural occurence, it's no longer usefull in their data sheets.

When you have to second guess technology and the wizards and what it was ment for we have a right to be told the truth. Can you argue me or agree with me.

I get what little comfort I can find.
