Very true. It's not a one-time-issued backstage pass, or get out-of-jail-card. We have to continually cultivate a relationship with The Creator, or The Saviour. Continual renewal of friendship and trust... not out of fear, but because we want to abide deeper with the Trinity every day.

having ( past tense) believed in him ( past tense ) YOU WERE SEALED WITH THE PROMISED ( past tense ) Holy Spirit which IS a deposit gauranteeing ( active present tense ) the inheritance ! so your fools to deny eternal life promised by Jesus to all who have believed on him!

You must give up sin. From the time you ask to be saved onward the rest of your days. Or you are not forgiven.

Asking for forgiveness each time you sin, isn't going to work. What did he say? That backs up my claim?

"Go and sin no more."

Alright... but can you word it a little softer? Change You to We, maybe? Or `Must` to `strive to`

And it's not give up 'sin'. It's do your best, even ye stumble often.

I think you’re fibbing (that’s a sin, by the way)...

The Holy Bible states that belief is proving by actions ones faith in what they believe.

Therefore, having proved with your actions your faith in Jesus Christ...
(Replace that with the word "believed")



Here's the proof that biblical belief is not how YOU and the worldly-minded interpret it to mean:


James 2:17-26
Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
