Today while I was listening to sports, I got bored and decided to see what kind of repetitive tick-tock bullshit Hannity was talking about these days. 710 WOR in the NY area. I heard this bizarre flanging static that made it impossible to listen. I've never had that happen before. I tried several times over the course of an hour, and there was no improvement. I can't tell you how often fox & fox business goes out on my TV (not that they are even worth watching any more).
Every time that happens I check CNN and MSNBC and they are always working fine. |

AM radio is highly sensitive to changes in the electric charge of the atmosphere and works best at night. During the day any solar activity will cause what you describe. |
