Not for you though. You got this. The easiest way to stop tooth pain is treat the infection with antibiotics like amoxicillin or keflex. it may take a day or 2 for the swelling to subside and hence release pressure on the nerves, but after that you will be right as rain always boggles my mind why common antibiotics are by prescription in so many countries all these insane dental infections some so serious that they can obstruct the airway. all this bullshit over if they just had an easier way for folks to get their hands on common, ordinary, and safe medications. mentioned this to a buddy thats an oral maxilo facial surgeon and he sees a number of this horrible situations he whole heartedly agreed no infection, no pain so ridiculously simple |

Lets see, painful tooth, tooth needs dental work, dentist says infection must be resolved before working on tooth, take antibiotics, come back in 5 days. CHECK. Lets see, someone has a sore tooth, goes to sleep awakes in agony with a softball where their cheek used to be, goes to dentist and dentist says? need for infection to be resolved before I can fix tooth, take antibiotics, come back in 5 days. CHECK Lets see, someone gets a sore tooth, pretty much stays the same for a few days no biggie, they go out in the sunshine, gotta boost Vit D levels! Wake up day 4 pain much worse, pain in chest, but they worried about gut bacteria, go out in sun again, cause more vit d and all. After not returning home a family member finds them near unconscious, drooling on themselves, febrile, with their tongue swollen to the point that it wont fit in their mouth anymore. They are struggling to breath. hmm 911!! Ambulance comes and driver in shock how big tongue can get! rush to hospital as EMT wont even attempt THAT intubation in the field! Upon arrival to Emergency Room ER doctor says Holy Fuck get Anesthesia down here to help secure this airway, patients gonna code!!! Anesthesiologist drops their coffee and runs to see what all the commotion is. upon arrival anesthesiologist says where is the surgeon? ER doc asks why? Anethesiologist explains that when the two of them fail to secure this struggling patients airway who is gonna emergently cut the neck open for a breathing tube??? So, in this example the ER doc and the Anesthesiologist bungle the airway, nobody can seem to find a surgeon, both MD's present never actually cut a neck before, but they try cause the patients heart rates dropping from lack of oxygen. Luckily for the patient an ENT surgeon walking by unexpectedly saves the day by intervening with a trach. What a fucking horrible drama that could have be stopped with SIMPLE ANTIBIOTICS!!!! Oh, supposedly the ENT surgeon did not arrive fast enough because the patient had residual brain damage from lack of oxygen after awakening. But of course the Gastroenterologist was HAPPY THAT THE FUCKIN GUT BACTERIA WERE NOT EVEN SCRATCHED!! These kind of medical dramas do occur, the above was just made up All the horrific suffering from completely treatable causes, so easy with antibiotics. I get that a little self limiting tooth pain that resolve after a day without antibiotics is great! But thats not what hospital staff see. So much sensless suffering from something so easy to treat. Like I said earlier, antibiotics for dental infections should be over the counter like in many countries. so much unneeded suffering and injury just because of needing a script. oh, and dont forget your probiotics |

Not for you though. You got this. Try Lugol's iodine on your tooth. Should take the pain out. Swish with water after every meal and spit. Depending on how bad your tooth is, you can heal it. Whole, raw foods, raw goat's milk, Vit D and K/sunshine. Don't use fluoride tooth paste; try something like earthpaste, or better yet, make your own and include finely ground egg shells to remineralize your teeth. Hope you feel better, tooth pain is terrible. |
