Tulsa is a crazy place.

The couple years I lived there, I was surprised a lot.

First day there, a guy walks into a bar to rob the place.
The bar tender somehow goes out to her truck and gets her deer rifle. Comes in and blows him away.

A while later on the news, a lady is arrested for making meth in the sporting goods aisle of a Walmart, using the items that were available there.

Then there were the 2 guys that agreed to a duel, went out in the street and shot at each other. 1 dead. survivor was not charged with anything.

Then there was the naked guy living in a tree on the East edge of town. He would crap from a branch about 30 ft in the air.

Then there was a guy that was screwing some woman's horse. She was very mad, saying that her horse was traumatized and nervous from the experience. It was not the first time he did this. All I could figure was he must have been hung like a horse himself, and could not find a human woman that could do the deed properly with him.

There was the nice part of town with the nicest people I have met in my life. (Although it seemed they were living in the 1960's or something, not that that is a bad thing).

And there was the crazy druggie part of town.

I remember a story about 10 years ago out of Greenfield, California (the Salinas Valley), in which a father sold his 13 year old daughter to an adult man for cases of beer, Gatorade, pounds of beef and pork, and cash. The guy took the daughter but didn't pay up, so dad called the police to report it. They arrested him instead. But.....but......it's common in Oaxaca.
