Great video and song. It has everything.

Back when music was real, no autotune.

Have a listen and go to the happy place. I'll meet you there.

The skillful, precise drums
The slap bass
The epic vocals and harmonies
The synth solo that lifts you up to the stars
The smooth brassy horns

The build up, the explosion, and release

This song has it all. Exceptionally talented musicians.

God bless the music makers.

Good song for reminiscing of the area.

Not at all, in any realm or in any way whatsoever, musical perfection though.

Back in those days, my friend was into Toto, and I liked Cheap Trick. And Bay City Rollers. And even Joni Mitchell, we had our hippy orchard and Joan Boaz, Nanna Mousakri, didn't like Bob Dylan.

And Rod Stewart Foot loose and Fancy Free.

And some of my dad's workers, from Quebec, often year round and worked for our orchard, in fact we had a couple show up from Switzerland telling us they had heard of our farm, and it was the best place.

Those days.

Was given 2 albums, Tim Buckley and Jesus Christ Superstar because they were playing non stop and I could sing the entire thing word for word, so they gave it to me.

I think Tim Buckley was my favorite.

So these were my real songs, playing all the time kind of, mom singing, I couldn't sing like she could. She could almost sing like Joan Boez in her early days. But used to know them word for word.

from my favorite album of hers.

Joan Baez her ballads. The seklie
