They Got my ce3llphone account stolen around the same time they got this account. They Transferred my ADA and ANKR to BTC Somehow Coinbase Pro was involved and it ended up sent to a wallet. Their IP was in Cali but they were prob using a tards.

They had my Phones account number and had it shut down and ported elsewhere. I got an email from CB saying you transferred ADA and ANKR to BTC Via Coinbase pro and I was like wtf?/

This is the Message that I saw when I copy/paste their wallet address.

Had you been using the Google Auth App for your code instead of sms, none of this would've happen. Even if you used a different phone or 2FA method for your email than you use for your CB account; none of this would've happen.

Not to mention that if all your assets were in the coinbase 48 hour vaults you would've had several texts and emails sent too two separate email accounts alerting you of a vault withdrawal request; this alone would've given you 48 hours to stop it all!

Sorry to hammer it hard, but you didn't value your assets hard enough to maximize all the security options CB offers you to use.

Sadly just using Google Auth alone would have stopped all this.

Not to bust your balls however it makes me mad to see people get ripped off when they could've prevented it. I yelled on here and many other places how to simply secure your assets on Coinbase many times.

I've been in this space for several years and OPSEC and paranoia has been front and center for me from day one! You need to be on guard 24/7.

Why didn't you use the coinbase vaults too??????

Why where you not using the 48 hour vaults on all your assets?

Why was your main email using the same 2FA as your coinbase account?

Anyone of these would have stopped hackers; however all three together would have been even better.

If his story is true. I've seen people post fake HACK stories to scare people away from crypto for reasons like just hating it, or causing FUD. There's no way in 2021 you shouldn't have your basic security knowledge down. However some people are low hanging fruit in life too. The positive is maybe newbies read these posts and avoid the mistakes from day one.

Tell me if your phone was antiquated JF Priest, if you logged onto public wifi, apartment overlaps without security on your router, etc etc.

There's no way this is a fake story. First of all he's been around GLP for a while. Secondly, his details are way too precise for it to be FUD. I think this group would smell through BS in sight.

just got off the phone with the local Tmobile store. The Hack occurred on their storage of accounts and not on the software end. Since I do not have an account and only their sodtware on my phone they are saying my hack did not come through them.

So I am sorta back to Square one. Coinbase account gets hacked. Get notifications that my ANKR and ADA have been transferred to BTC via Coinbase pro. That end up in a wallet that gets drained. At almost the same time My cell carrier thanks me for being a Loyal customer and my account is now closed per my request. (Which I never did)

Speaking to tarcfone customer service they said my number was ported out.

After calling and talking to them over the next 3 days their story changes and they now say the number was cancelled in their error . (I don't believe them to much of a coincidence going on at the same time)
