You make a good point T man. Risky, worth it ? Maybe…. Betting on beating the whales to be the finish line before they start dumping on you and losing your XRP sounds like too much for me…. Sheeeeeit.

I have a comfort level with Xumm, but my hesitation comes from hearing problems even with the largest platforms.
For those that didn't read Whip's mention yesterday, Coinbase is handling $235B in crypto, and only has $4B on hand, which is why they go down when the market goes red, and will not end well... take note. Without knowing that, just The day before, I transferred my last remaining Algo to KuCoin to pick up more XDC and XRP. Now, I'm glad I did. coinbase is my onramp to keep things simple and secure, but will now have to move somewhere else, maybe the new xrp or stellar exchanges opening up.
I am on Bitrue which just opened up to the drop, and sounds like others will be following suit. I am looking forward to that, and eventually moving all stellar stuff one place(like I do Lobstr now), and something for my XRP assets. my XDC for is for long-term gains, as I don't get see a reason for me to need it for my transactions I might expect. As time goes on, and more normies enter the arena, it will only get easier and easier.

Yo Abe, been following your info, sounds great, but is there not a chance the xumm wallet could experience “interruptions” wink wink….when everyone tries to make their moves on the 12/24. Forgive me for my noobish comment but if not an interruption with xumm some other exchange- internet technicality “fuckup” due to congestion with all the other crypto traders kind of like what CB experiences constantly.

Who knows what will happen. But I've never experienced a hang up like the folks on coinbase so often do. I'm sure its going to dump like crazy after the snapshot. I hope my fat fingers are fast enough to trade at a decent price on the way down. This is a trade that I have an alarm set for. There is no minutes later, no, "I'll do it later". Its a split second decision. Its a moment of truth trade.

No waiting until after work. No excuses.

Now, if it continues to increase in value through out that day, that's on me. I just know my XRP bag will be bigger and my Solo will be returned 5x. This is my plan.

I cant guarentee anything. I just read a little bit here and there and listen to people here and on Twitter. Especially the legal advisors. The lawyers that follow the ripple vs SEC case.

My whole adventure into this shit was all because of the ripple case. I bought in January on the basis of our government was saying I cant have XRP. I was like "Fuck you and fucking watch me get what you say I can't have".


I worked in forensics for about 20 years. My whole career was based on evidence and facts.

I looked at the evidence and facts in this court case.


Ripple cant lose.

Considering that Xumm isn't an exchange I cannot foresee that being a problem. It's built on the XRPL and we all know the stats about speed that it brings. 1500 transactions a second for almost no fee. Even if 100,000 people were to exchange simultaneously, you're looking at waiting a whopping one minute six seconds. Ifeel good about that.

The exchanges are a joke and they all simultaneously go down when big moves happen for a reason. This is not that situation imo.

Solo is hitting all time highs right now. I'm glad you guys bought or traded for it. Its going to be crazy in December.

yea i hadnt really thought about this. but i guess ill just hodl on to the solo untill after the drop. i dont like thinking back about what-if's

im already happy with the XRP i have, i wanted some solo anyway and now to get free extra solo. and with xumm i will be getting other drops too. that way its a 100% win for me.
no matter how solo performs between dec 24 and jan 20.

unless my solo is way up after the snapshot still... then i might just exchange for xrp, knowing i will get much more SOLO later anyway.

this makes me wonder how the drop itself will influence the price tho. like after jan 20?
