Personal revelation. My entire life crashed down around me. I realized how much of a failure I have been and how powerless I am to fix my life. I realized that all the promises of the earthly systems I have followed were lies and empty. I reached out and was answered in a powerful way, and continue to be answered every day.

Be prepared to be persecuted and ostracized by friends and family. It happened to me when I converted from Byzantine Catholic to Orthodox several years ago. I was mocked, shunned, and lost a lot of friends. I’m very sorry to hear that. I’m surrounded by people who are already Christian and God has graced me with stronger relationships than ever before. I’ve also been given the opportunity to move some people closer to the Lord through this.
