In my own journey, I have discovered that being drawn to the Lord causes a HUGE degree of offense to some people. They absolutely cannot abide the idea and will lash out, repeatedly. I have remained quiet about it in my own circles for this reason, though that time is coming to an end, thankfully.

Just keep the faith OP. Don't let them get to you. They will do anything possible to discredit you and pull you away.
