I believe you, OP. Since the damage is done, the only thing I can think to do would be to hire a lawyer and file a complaint with the licensing board in your state.

From extensive personal experience, I can tell you that there are good, caring doctors and nurses who would never force something on a patient and who would risk their lives and livelihood to care for their patients. They are in the minority. Then there are the middle of the Bell Curve, who will go along to get along and behave situationally, for better or worse. Then there are those who are sadistic sociopaths who get into medicine for a taste of the power of life and death. There are more of these than you would imagine!

In my years at various hospitals, I could tell you some stories that would beggar belief. Sometimes, to 'teach an uncooperative patient a lesson,' doctors and nurses would ram a catheter into a patient's bladder so forcefully it drew blood. I've seen this several times. The patient howling and screaming in agony, scaring the entire ED and I come running only to see the sick bastards grinning and laughing. I've caught them using drugs like Ketamine innappropriately to 'calm' agitated patients. I've seen them slap fake 72-hour psych holds on people with no altered mental status, just because they pissed the doctor off.

The medical profession works hand-in-glove with the state to deal with 'dissidents.' This is a well-documented historical fact. Why would anyone think the US would be immune?
