I need some help with my apple flavored horse paste
I want to give it to my pony.

The paste arrived and it’s in like a syringe dispenser!

I have ponies that weigh between 135-220 pounds.

How the hell do you measure this stuff?

One of the ponies are on Humira and methotrexate.

Is it ok to give it to that pony?

Each digit is 50 lb mark. Use the slider to set how much you'll need.

Thanks for all the help.

Do you think it’s ok for the one pony on Humira and methotrexate?

They are immune suppression drugs.

Yep!

Just like the covid vaccine was for weasels.

Oh...never mind. The weasels died :(

It is safe for humans though so please take the jab!

If you have a small pony, say 150lbs. Just push the plunger 3 notches (if it's 50 lb per notch).

you should really check with your local vet on the other medications you are giving to your horses.........the anti parasitic is basic prophylactic, but for whatever reason you are giving the other medication, you should not be getting guidance here.......

From
Experience

One syringe goes up to 1200 lb animal

Divide by 6 = 200 lb “animal”

There are between 5-6 doses in each syringe using approx 1/2” of paste per dose

For 180-200 lb human we have taken 1/2” of paste and up to 1” at a time once per day while symptoms and had no side effects - no bowel habits changes - no stomach problems - nothing negative at all.

So try 1/2” paste for pony guided by weight

I wish your ponies the best. This pony has dosed several times now with no issues. A little blob about the size of a big pea was enough for my pony.

Re: I need some help with my apple flavored horse paste
My family has taken probably thirty doses of ivermectin. But I have been using it for years, estimating dosage for rabbits, dogs, chickens, we put out treats when we know we have a wild critter until we get it wrangled (so we know it won't be pooping worms all over our property), so skunks, possums, raccoons.

My daughter accidentily gave a 1250 dose to a 40lb goat and it never skipped a beat.

It is actually very safe.

At this point, we actually take it occasionally for inflammation. You wouldn't believe the number of old cowhands, who get plenty broke up during the course of their lives, who take it instead of pain medications.

But don't be an idiot about it, okay.

Re: I need some help with my apple flavored horse paste
Each increment is for 50 pounds of "horse"

it likes to push back into the tube when you put the cap on so just slowly squeeze it to the top and the you can measure but I round up and take it every 20 days or more often when I feel like I am around dodgy horses that might have dis-ease.

I would also recommend dosing your cats and dogs unless you have a collie breed dog. They can get Cov infections too if you notice a lot of people have had pets die???

Interesting to say the least. If one of your horses happens to have covid take a full dose, wait one day then another full dose.

Ivermectin is remarkably safe so you could probably eat the entire tube and be just fine.
