...The Architects of Fear

Kind of reminds me of the movie 2012. In 2009 they discover that a solar flare is microwaving the Earth and they start to build these massive arcs in China to try to save a chunk of the population to repopulate the Earth after all of the flooding.

This video shows the United States is using a quarter of its GDP to build two massive military bases a year and that they all are interconnected with each other with these very fast trains. It sounds like they're building an entire world underground and at the end of the video they claim the aliens will be housed there.

Well what if it's like 2012 and they know something bad is coming to the surface of the planet and so they started building these underground complexes to house enough of the population so we wouldn't go extinct.

Could be aliens, or solar related, could be a polar shift, or meteor, or pandemic, or anything else they found out about. Or maybe they are just doing it to spend the money and ad a safeguard in case any of these things do happen.
