This is so racist. The Cleveland team was named the Indians because the first Native American to play MLB was an outfielder name Louis Sockalexis. They named the team the Indians to honor him.

They should have kept the name Indians. India is a country with a billion people. Surely 40 of them can play baseball? Just make an all Indian team and change the logo to an Indian woman with a dot on her forehead. Problem solved

Team mascots in 99% of cases are chosen out of respect for some quality that the mascot has. They usually don’t pick things they don’t like or respect.

I hope everyone understands that a primary goal of TPTB is to eliminate tradition. They are eliminating the family, gender, history, and rights under the constitution. They even are changing traditional name brands and food items. Sports teams are tradition. People don’t watch grown men play baseball, because they call themselves Indians. They watched the Cleveland Indians, because it was a tradition that reminded them of childhood, memories, and gave them a sense of civic pride and even identity to some. TPTB and the left also seem to be trying to destroy the financial system and economy. It would give them the power and everyone else would be equal (Four legs good). Don’t concede. This is actually true. The name was suggested by a little girl fan 2 years after Sockalexis died of TB. There were quite a few Native Americans in baseball in the early 20th century, but I guess....fuck them, right? Why do we even nee to acknowledge ANY Native Americans?
