WOW, this thread collected a lot of HATE in a very short time.

Just a reminder to all devil-worshippers out there - it's never too late to change sides. Jesus will forgive you for what you've done.

The universe was created for us.

Did you know that astrophysicists discovered, after mapping all the matter they could see, and the energy afterglow of the big bang through sensors, they used this to plot where Earth is in the ever-expanding universe?

Guess where we are.

In the center of the universe.

God made it all, for us. An overabundance of beauty to explore. And, as an offering to teach us something about His nature...His infiniteness, complexity, preciseness, intention, creation, destruction, and sheer awesomeness.

The universe itself boggles the mind with its reach and content. Yet, we know God exists outside of it, outside of time and space and is immensely larger...endless...than the universe.

Our universe had a beginning, and it has an end. God is eternal.

Omfg , don't make me laugh....guess what you have shown you have no concept of the horizen problem.....of course we are in the center of what we CAN SEE in a universe that is expanding at faster than light.
Are you actually suggesting the earth isn't at the center of the universe ..lmao

Re: Jesus Christ NEVER said anything to encourage PREPPING
Hi OP. I'm so glad to see your question, it shows that you are truly trying to follow God's Word. I pray the Lord will guide me in sharing the word of God.

In the book of Genesis 41, Moses wrote about Joseph. He was the son of Jacob and was sold to the Egyptians by his jealous brothers to be a slave. After many years he eventually became a member of Pharaoh's household. Joseph was blessed by God to be able to interpret dreams. Pharaoh had a dream and it was interrupted by Joseph that there would be seven years of plenty then seven years of famine. Afterwards Joseph eventually became an esteemed member of the Pharaoh's court and he then was made overseer of the land that would produce the grains. He gathered grain to secure bread for all those in Egypt. After seven years there was a great amount and he decided to share with the others who were outside of Egypt hit with the famine.

Joseph did not hoard all the grain for just Egypt. He shared with others who were experiencing the famine outside of Egypt. He did not keep it to rot in the grain silos.

So storing up your hoards of food for yourself would be the wrong thing to do. There will be people who will be starving all around you while you and your families retain well being. Some of you will feel that the food is yours and won't share because you feel like others should have prepared for the famine. But remember, there will be elderly, disabled, and others who are just unable to save up food. Plus your hoards will begin to rot. Insects will damage your hoards, intense weather will damage your hoards. So why not share with those in great need before things become affected by time? In Revelation it speaks of the Christians who will be sustained by the care of others. These will be those who will eventually be murdered because of their faith in our Lord Jesus. It's not for Christians to not prepare knowing this fact. We're to rely on Father God to provide for us at all times. He will do miracles and we're not to worry about provisions because He will always provide for us.

I will come back to explain the other points brought up in this thread.

Peace be with you.

Its point is not to wait for "someone else" to fix things for us, it's all about faith in our creator to lovingly care for us. When our faith in our Lord surpasses our wants, we become more enlightened to how much our Father God loves us.

Re: Jesus Christ NEVER said anything to encourage PREPPING
I have a question about prepping. I've been doing it myself on/off for many years to a small extent, but lately I've been wondering if it makes any sense.

I mean, our Lord Jesus Christ never said that we need to prep. He did say though that we need to have faith in him, and it's all good.

One of my favourite bible verses is Matthew 14:31, where Jesus is lecturing Peter for not having enough faith in him. The English translation is bollocks though, it works so much better in German when he says "DU KLEINGLÄUBIGER".

Isn't prepping in a way just the same? We believe that Jesus will take care of us - but not really - because we are still stockpiling stuff like no tomorrow. Are we these people of little faith?

Shouldn't we just take the doom when it comes, knowing that the only prep we ever needed to do was to 100% trust Jesus Christ?

Jesus also did say, that when the time comes, whoever goes back into his house to collect something, will perish.

DON'T PREP - JUST PRAY?

Good point. And the Amish and the Mormons consider prepping a way of life.

And I trust they know the bible better than I do.

All the people destined to be resurrected at the Great White Throne event are the 2nd group in Re:7, they are the ones being chastised in Hebrews:12, they are also the ones building their homes all across the universe in Isa:65. They only visit New Jerusalem but they are given in marriage and have dominion over the same other flesh Adam was given dominion over.

Thinking God doesn't save them is a fast way to become a member of that group, rather than living in New Jerusalem.

The 7 letter to the 7 churches are 14 relationship a person can have with God when God is in charge. The 7 vials are when the judgment comes, the people with a relationship that fits the good ones will be part of the 1/3 that survive the vials. The 2/3 that die will have one of the 7 that are related to 'overcoming before they are approved by God'.

There is an old Indian adage that says, “Call on God,
but steer away from the rocks”...

I prep because I have lived through hurricanes.
Prepping meant you could shelter in place.

I have participated in buying a bag of cat food at any priice
outside a grocery store with only cash accepted, NO change.
(in the aftermath of a hurricane).

You do what you want...God knows I am going to be as ready
as I can be for whatever I can imagine. Life is not always
imaginable. I wish you well in your choices...

Joseph stored grain in Egypt for the famine approaching so he could feed those in need.

There's nothing wrong with having food. Just like Joseph, you can be in a position to help people instead of being like the average person who isn't preparing for an emergency. Or is it more noble to starve? Do you wear a seatbelt? Do you lock your doors at home? Do you lock your car door?

Hi. There is nothing at all wrong with being prepared for disasters. I encourage gathering things you may need for a short while. What the problem is are those who stock pile for themselves only. It's very good to gather when can buy in bulks of goods, but with the right intentions. Who would be able to live with themselve clothed and nurished while you know that homeless, poor, children, babies, elderly or pregnant women are starving and dying all around you? Would you be willing to find it in your hearts to help them? I pray to our Father that he palaces it in your heart to do the right thing.

Re: Jesus Christ NEVER said anything to encourage PREPPING
I'm going to go with the trumps start a period of time for believers where they are in the same wilderness where Jesus was for His 40-day fast. No food or water was needed. The day the 144,000 are taken to the wilderness in the closing verses of Re:12 is the same thing.
When the two witnesses are resurrected, that is the first day of the 1,000-year reign. The only meal eaten is the modified Passover feast. Cain's offering was thanking God for the food that was keeping everybody alive, there will still be children born to the flock that will eat food until they are 120 years old, then God makes them immortal. The other flesh will have to keep eating food to remain alive for eternity.

Satan and the Beast will be the ones in control of food. I'm quite sure they would see that as an insult to their method of running things. Prep on . . .
