I'm rubbish at remembering but from what I recall, wasnt there a story about ladies and a lamp? Something to do with stocking with oil waiting for someone to arrive? Cant be to sure but the one who had the oil declined to help the one who didnt saying she should have prepared? Maybe I have that wrong.

There is a really interesting near death experience that illustrated that verse perfectly. George Ritchie his name was. Jesus showed him that verse in action. For example, there was someone who seemed to have been dedicated to a business, maybe his. This person was dead but was in the office of where he used to work. He was screaming in anger at the man sitting at the desk. The man at the desk was oblivious to him being there ad he was on this side of the veil still. But the man who was dead kept shouting directions at him. Why didnt you phone so and so, they would have done it cheaper, things like that. He was trapped on this side but the world could not see him nor could touch or interact with anything. Jesus said he was where is heart was, the business was all he cared about.

He described many people in this state that we can not see. Suicides was one of them, they were following their loved ones around begging for forgiveness and that they regret doing it. They were also trapped on this side but in spirit form. I'm not saying that happens to everyone but there were plenty in that state. He saw many other wondrous things as well. I'm a struggling christian who is still learning. I will say that the verse mentioned had merit to the conversation. That being the case, the only point you should be able to manage is that I didnt remember it word for word, but the lesson of the verse was understood. It's amazing how you tar all Christian's with the same brush. Because I struggle with remembering or havent come across a certain segment yet - you claim all Christian's are like that and have no knowledge of their book? You based that assessment on what? Me? I feel honoured you hold me so highly when I see my self as so low in gods eye. Maybe be less judgemental moving forward?
