Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71737202 Brings back HUUUUGE memories from then, what we called "the SECOND "British Invasion (incredible wall of music that hit America, early 1980's.) Fingerprintz were an unsung British band. They were borderline new wave and even punk. Underrated completely. They were brilliant, as "Beam Me Up, Scotty" can attest to. Naturally, hearing this song again after many years, it immediately gave me a wonderful feeling, full of great memories from when I was a lad, starting college (1979-80) and the amazing watercolor of sound those very late 70's/early 80's and everything we saw, heard, experienced then. Because of what we are now going through and the horrors of this new era of pain and strangeness, we long for a simpler day. I believe all of us of a certain age (on here) do, who are GLP'ers for a long time, like myself. Here is an example of a song, from the summer of 1980 (also part of the new British Invasion then) that seems to be a timeless classic. The artistry of the music video is amazing, considering it came out a whole YEAR before MTV was first established; upon which time "music videos" became an art form, not just an advertising device for the artists making them. In my music 'memory bank,' I thought this song came out a lot later, say 1990 but no, it's from '80, amazingly enough. A whole 41 YEARS AGO ALREADY!!! Where does the time go? How does FOUR DECADES fly by in a blink of an eye? Split Enz - I Got You (1980) YES agreed. Where has all of the good and mysterious music and songs gone? All entertainment is bad or just plain boring these days, no soul or spine, no mystery either, nothing to give thought into or imagination. Beam me up indeed, it's lifeless here. Radoi |

No, there are not 200 million craft in our solar system, your "fleet" doesn't exist. you've never been beamed up to any spaceship. you have been making that false claim for over a decade. Post a link to the video proof clearly showing you beaming beamed up to said ship. you wont, because you cant----its always been a lie. |
