When a teacher tells you , you did exceptionally well, what does that mean ?

i had to contact my school because my grades weren't posted on the sonis server. Unfortunately they cannot give grades over the phone. So the lady official whom i spoke w/ said she can atleast tell me, looking at my grades from her terminal that i did "exceptionally well". Bear in mind, she cannot release the grades over the phone for legal reasons.

My problem is what does exceptionally well mean ? does it mean i got all As , some As and some Bs ? what ?

if you can't get the information over the phone the next logical step is to physically go there and get it right? hehe

listen - without being able to get a feel for who I am speaking to all it means is whatever it says in the dictionary.

what do YOU think she meant by exceptionally well?

to me i would say at least honor roll, if not dean's list
