In the past couple weeks this is the third local tornado. One landed a mile away, and one about 5 or 6 miles away touched down by the Columbus Farmer's Market. This is more like 15 miles at least, but still....I never ever thought of this area as one for tornados. With all my prepping I never planned for tornados. That has to change. I figure a couple camping mattresses wrapped and taped in plastic so they don't get musty. Grab a blanket off the sofa running to the basement. A flat of water and some food; flashlights. Ponchos if the roof tore off? We have some hidden cash, but not in the basement....maybe should try to move it down. I can't even imagine the house being ripped to shreds. I told my husband to be ready to grab his wallet if we have to run for cover and then stay at a hotel. Do people stash clothes and all the rest in storm shelters in case they lose everything? This makes me feel really sorry for people in Tornado alley. |

Another sign from God, like the George Floyd mural lightning strike from last week? "Some people would rather curse the darkness than light a can do." Method Man |

Cloudy but no signs of anything dramatic weather wise right now. Quoting: Deplorable Curly Howard Don't want anyone to get hurt, but I hope it blows all of the corruption out of the capitol city. Another sign from God, like the George Floyd mural lightning strike from last week? Same here...I was expecting some intense thunderstorms at least, but nothing happened. Ditto, we dodged a nasty one this time! Deuteronomy 31:6 6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” |

There have been a few in Gloucester and Burlington counties, and lots of waterspouts on the Delaware Bay. When the shit hits the fan and the end is just nigh, will you cry out to Heaven? Will you lie down and die? Not me, my dear one - THIS IS MY SACRED LIFE - to no one nor no thing I'll surrender. For how does one know where when dead she will go, or if sweet Mother Earth he'll remember? - Sug |

Heavy safe on the basement level for important papers, etc. or Make duplicates of important paperwork, information, send to relative in another State for safe keeping. |
