I almost grabbed a rattlesnake that for just a second thought it was a chicken snake.

I noticed one of your recent videos is drilling for the new homestead. Did you move? Is the old one for sale?

I know that king snakes are suppose to keep other snakes away but I don't know about chicken snakes.

Neighborhood store workers found a Moccasain & a Copperhead tied up & fighting by their dumpster. They took some pics but it was about 10 years ago, no video sadly.

That was. my job at my grandmas house. To check the chickens for eggs and snakes....
I was 10 and had many major wars with 6' bull snakes and old black snakes...

I took a herp elective in college. It's true. Ratters, kings, coach whips, chicken snakes, and racers will keep the copperhead and rattlesnake populations at bay.

As soon as I get the other property just livable the old one will go up for sale. Then we can pay everything off. That means no land or house payment. No truck or car payment.

That is a rat snake they are not venomous but kill rats by constriction. I catch them in my chicken coup from time to time because they are looking for eggs.
