Haven't been in a Walmart in a long time, but when I did if they tried to say anything to me at the door I'd just make eye contact and walk right past them without saying a word

One time they had 3 people on registers and self-check out was broken, lines were loooooong. I was going to drop everything and leave but my better half wanted to wait.

On the way out the door I said "Instead of standing there with your little sharpie wasting time, go hop on a damn register the lines are crazy"

Ive thrown my receipt down at their feet, and kept on walking but usually id just say no thanks and keep on walking.

What's hilarious is sometimes they would have a mile long slow moving line of people waiting to have their receipt checked on the way out.. Yes the sheep mentality is that bad.

I've made such the scene due to a "receipt Nazi" at the Portal to Hell one day...harhar, I think she quit. I'm fairly certain I scared the hell outta her...but the people standing in line waiting to get out their little fucking receipts checked out we're shaking their heads up and down.

But to get stopped for a bag of apples, a loaf of bread and some cheese is another.....

Problem is too many blacks go there to use up the welfare cards and steal at the sametime.

They don't have any authority to stop you and look at anything. Tell them, "No, thanks," and keep walking. Most District attorneys have announced they won't charge or prosecute shoplifting (not that you were) under $750, so the cops aren't going to come if Walmart tries to call them. Walmart claims, on record, that they do that to see if they could've helped you save on your items, or if you got overcharged, so they know it looks bad to accuse shoppers of theft when they're trying to leave.

I give them my receipt and walk out. I've done it many times. You don't need a receipt to return an item, only the card you paid for it with. If cash then you get a store credit.

This area is 92% white.
When I put on a suit to go to court I'm normally offered to bypass the metal detector because they assume I'm an Attorney.
The only profile I would fit is tall,athletic,handsome,untatooed,white male about 6'1 170lbs.
The police in this town would jump on the chance to haul someone off for shoplifting as crime in the area minimal.

I just hand them the receipt, never stop walking and tell them to have a great day. Only once the old man tried to follow me but I declined.

I've noticed when it's stuff not in a bag. Like paper towels, toilet paper, etc. Stuff that doesn't fit in a bag. That's the only time they have checked my receipt

But you didn't shoplift so they have no reason to arrest you.
