"Police said officers received a call about a drunk driver and that the caller had followed the suspect home". That's not the same as a trained cop pulling someone over on suspicion of DUI based on observation. Anybody can call police to make a report on you, whether it's true or not. nontheless “Clearly this is a man at his home being approached and accosted by law enforcement for reasons he can’t really understand. And he’s afraid,” attorney Justin Moore said. Williams could be heard on the video saying, “I’m not getting on the ground… I’m not getting on the ground. This is my property.” police came on his backyard and he didn't follow orders because muh private property, not exactly a reason to avoid the police because you're fucking affraid of them Was he under arrest? Was he being detained? Did the Police witness impaired driving or did they go off the hearsay report by concerned Karen? |

The police do NOT have especial rights afforded them by "policy", this was clearly a felony trespassing, assault with a deadly weapon, attempted murder and criminal official oppression. This is why we need an an independent prosecutor and grand jury to judge the guilt or innocence of police officers when they commit crimes. |

Natural human instinct will be to do exactly what he did: upholster his weapon, seek cover, and return fire. Quoting: Navarro Idiots and tyrants. And they shine those lights right in your eyes, its painful...I know. That should be assault in itself. |

Anyone who is paying attention would realize that cops are just as much slaves as they are and they are very afraid, agitated, and even stupid these days. They would also realize that if it really is a stupid mistake and you are totally innocent, if you just go along with their stupidity in 99% of the cases they will eventually figure it out and let you go. Even if you have to suck up your pride and sit in the back of their car for an hour while they clear it up. They might not even apologize to you. Boo frickin hoo. I just told them my truck had been nowhere. My rifle was in my hands and I would have used it had they drew their weapons. In my state I am not required to retreat on my own property and armed persons trespassing who draw weapons have reached the legal parameters for lethal force being used in self defense. If you have told them to leave and they remain they are automatically guilty of felony trespassing in Texas if they draw weapons, and since they are armed with deadly weapons and have a reputations for using them unlawfully. We've had several case in Texas where homeowners shot police and got a clean no bill from the GJ. When they tried it on me, I just told them to leave my property and not to return without an arrest warrant and they havent ever been back since. These are armed men with a reputation for killing people for nothing, of course you have a right to defend yourself. |

Being armed on your own property and ordering police off our property is NOT an excuse for police to even put their hands near their guns, in fact with myself at this point that would be an unwise decision. |
