Couple of days ago a friend went to his girlfriend.
No answer at door.
Let himself in.
She was dead on the floor.

I've been told by a reliable source that police in our town - just outside a major city - have been dealing with a rash of calls in the past month, where people have been found DOA in their homes. The profile tends to be white men in their 30s and 40s. They seemingly just drop.

Don't know their "vaccination" status, but it sure is unusual. PD muckety-mucks also have instructed officers not to discuss this trend with others, hoping to stave off panic.

I do wonder if this is more pervasive than we know.

As a towing and recovery operator, finding a corpse in a vehicle on the right of way is not unheard of. Oxy and fentanyl you know, but usually you can tell from the vehicle those folks have been down a hard road before ending here. What is new is 30-40s, white male, working class dudes with a life worth making the drive home for. Another this morning 42, with 3 kids and small business. pillar of the community type, curious if any tox / autopsy report will make the local gossip. Slumped over the wheel, looked like he just stopped there and put in park and died?

My significant other's cousin dropped dead in the bathroom last week. Was fine the day before and was planning a normal day when bang, dead. I don't know if we'll ever find out why.

Also, Obits are showing a lot more younger people dying. Most are saying "natural causes". Sort of suspicious.

I think it is starting to kick up. This Fall should show if it's going big time or not.

Seeing a lot of younger aged obits in my area that say “died unexpectedly at home.” Usually at least 2 per day.

Someone else commented on "needing more confirmation". Like what? A dead body? I'm not a cop in town, so I can't confirm. The source knows the officer. The source is a truthful, matter-of-fact person and wouldn't make this up, and was careful not to extrapolate on details or to draw conclusions concerning cause.

I'm not sure what point you're making. The officer in my original post IS leaking this out.
