I am a general class ham and the general class and tech class (lowest) are not nearly as accepting of the death shot... If you want to hear some good entertainment listen to the WARFA net on 3.908 Sun, Tue, Thur nights at 11 PM EDT, 8 PM PDT..!!!!! Hilarious old men with lots of jambers too. |

I am not young, but by Ham standards I suppose I am. Anyway, I have noticed they are generally consumers and believers of tv news. While the overwhelming majority I have known are very conservative, I have to say they can be very gullible where it concerns cable news. Quoting: Battlestar Texas BTW for the uninitiated, No. hams aren’t getting their news from other hams out there. Generally the conversations are rather lame, about radio gear and other dullness. Miss Laura the Special Council for ham radio (and probably Riley K4ZDH) drove all the interesting hams off the bands.. W6WBJ was a legend and he had his license cancelled by her. Same goes for K1LEM, and KI4THY as well, these guys were really interesting and discussed many subjects which are usually Taboo on mass media and social media. |

Very conservative and NEVER will take that damn jab. WARFA if you have some way to listen on 3.908Khz is funny as hell. Use some of the online receivers websdr and kiwisdr (don't remember if they are .com or .org) if you have no equipment. |
