I live and work in Myrtle beach at different hospitals throughout SC. ER is no busier than usual. Covid pods were shut down and haven't reopened. One hospital I work at put the OPEN SALAD BAR BACK!! So much for record outbreak huh???????

I know at least 100 people that have had the virus, and I knew at least 10 people, personally, that have DIED from the virus.

In the last couple of weeks, a new wave of infections has hit this area.

Oak Grove High School, near Hattiesburg, tried to open, normally, last week. It, and three or four other schools just went to virtual classes because so many kids were showing up SICK, because of SUMMER CAMPS!!!!

A friend of mine is a nurse at Forrest General Hospital. She told me, a couple of weeks ago, that the Covid is back.

A friend of mine and his wife caught the virus, a few weeks ago. They both had BOTH SHOTS. They both got sick as hell. SHE DIED, LAST WEEK. The SHOT is not worth the RISKS!!!

This time it is really hitting pregnant white women, hard. Blood clots. One I know, just died after being transferred from Forrest General to UAB. Her lungs were TOAST. Heart stopped working. They took the baby, before she died, and it tested positive for Covid, too.

Yeah, same here, been in and out of ER with sick relative almost daily visiting, etc., and very few people except at peak times, and non of them in hazmat, so doubt much in COVID.

Of course, being in Florida, they're really playing it up. Now I can't visit relative in rehab home.

I know of three people, that I've not had contact with, that now have COVID, pretty much the sniffles and a cough, but they get two weeks off paid.

I live next door in Alabama. I know 8 people who've caught it since July 4th. All symptomatic. 1 ended up in ICU for a week.

6 of them were double vaccinated including the ICU case and one who had Covid last year.

1 of them had Covid last year and was not vaccinated.

1 was an unvaccinated 14 year old who was briefly hospitalized with encephalitis caused by Covid. Not ICU but a weird low fever delirium.

Whatever this delta thing really is, vaccine and natural immunity from last year's Covid doesn't mean shit.

Also, only 2 of these people were elderly. 1 is obese and diabetic. The rest were in good health.

My county is red and I haven't heard of anyone actually being sick.

I live in WA, not far from ground zero and our first patient in the US last Jan. My gf is an DDS, we personally know exactly ZERO people that got it, ONE employee of hers that "supposedly" got it but no other employee at her practice ever got it afterwards. Nobody mask in this state except workers ordered to, old people, and cucks. Been going to restaurants and bars for months enjoying our evenings, don't mask ever. ANd yet everything is perfectly fine? Same here, but I have noticed an uptick in mask wearing in our Kroger up here in Oxford in the past few weeks it’s still about 60/40 unmasked vs masked but it’s back on the rise for sure. Will be interesting once the Ole Miss students come back for classes in 3 weeks (not to mention football game weekends- last I heard they weren’t restricting attendance or tailgating in the Grove)
