Why do you think they’re so hot for self-driving cars and ‘smart’ roads? Very shortly, our personal vehicles will become nothing more than tiny, overly-expensive busses or trains. The average person gets priced out of such a ‘luxury.’ People are forced to use mass transit. That forces people to move to cities. Population control - done.

So how smart/dumb are these things? Can a can of forced air, or even a balloon do the trick?

The only way these things even work for DWI ignition interlock is because they install a camera, which is inseparable from its operation, because there are a million and one ways to get around the actual blowing part undetected.

Doesn’t matter to me, I use Uber/Lyft when I go out drinking. $25-$40 now versus $10,000 dollars and a 20% rise in premiums later. No brainer. Quit being so cheap.

Im in partial to it, i believe alot of irresponsible people need that , who have addiction prolems, however what about airplane pilots, why not make that mandatory....lots more lives are at stake, and they cant be pulled of at a check point to be stopped....Im all for Airlines making that mandatory as there have been some cases of drunk pilots recently
