People don't just go schizophrenic.

It's either exposure to toxins (poisons, drugs), nutritional imbalances, or actual connections with other dimensions which can be very frightening and confusing (which the psychiatry industry wants to dull with drugs instead of respecting the individual and helping them to close down these spiritual portals).

Coconut oil is proving effective in helping folks with dementia and Alzheimer's, maybe it could help your Dad too.

It is so ironic that you mention the other dimensional aspect with his mental illness as he has mentioned that ability when lucid before, and surely it seems like it would be frightening. . . to me at least!

He didn't just go schizophrenic in a day. There were and are multiple triggers that led to flight of ideas and flight of thought. I have witnessed two breakdowns in the period from 2010-2020, but thank you for accurately pointing that out for other readers!

on a side note: extra-dimensional beings do exist and certainly can be frightening. I am no saint but I know I actively try to be more Christ-adjacent than my dad. He hates religion . . . believes it to be all about money.

It sounds like your father has advanced toxoplasmosis which is causing or contributing to his schizophrenia. I remember reading about a therapist working with prisoners with schizophrenia and greater than 80% had TG.

In addition he discovered over numerous interviews that the voices his patients were hearing we separate from the patients. They weren’t making up what they heard, they were being instructed to do things that were detrimental to their own safety and well-being.

I believe TG is used as a means for inter dimensional entities to access our realm. I could only speculate for what purpose but according to one of his patients, they claim we have no right to interfere with their way of life.

There’s numerous threads on GLP that discuss TG and it effects. It’s a the true pandemic.

Many anti psychiatric meds are also anti parasitic..not enough to cure you, but enough to control you. God bless you and your father! He suffered enough.

Thank you very VERY much for the kind and informative response. Toxoplasma gondii or T. gondii could very well be present, as we do have cats cant the boxes do not stay clean as I'd like them to.

Moreover, after recently having his room cleaned there was literature and correspondences sent to him from the mid 1990's under swathes of clothes and just very disorganized and what many would think of as random and unnecessary belongings.


Upon examination cat feces were found adjacent to bed sheets (that had not been used in God only knows how long) and next to clothing items.



It may sound as if he is a hoarder. He is not. Schizophrenia and Schizoaffective disorder often presents in a disorganized living quarters. If anyone has watched the TLC show 'Hoarders', it was nothing close to being that bad.

I am now wondering if I should get some Sulfadiazine, which according to Bing is given along with pyrimethamine. I will act as if I need it and send him information on TG.



Assuming the medications are relatively affordable -- whatever that means.




As to interfering with 'their' lives we do not have a right to rule in an authoritarian manner an individual with a mental illness' life. When it is a father or a sister, a brother or perhaps ones mother. An uncle or an aunt, or perhaps a close cousin even a care factor begins to obviously present. When seeking help for whichever individual is struggling with said mental health issue it is common for said patient to feel as if we are interfering in his or her life, as to the schizoid patient -- that is their normal, Delusional and paranoid along with disorganized thinking after many years or in some cases less than half a year of that being a patients baseline -- one would be remiss to state that we are not 'interfering'.


If I were to put myself in many patients shoes, I would feel as if I was being interfered with. To make that worse and compound that as a patient with schizoid behaviors and foundational precepts for day to day life I may very well deny completely and insist that in fact, it is the individual pointing the finger ( to attempt to help said patient ) that is the 'crazy' individual.





Schizophrenia is heartbreaking and as a professor of mine once said, prior to me witnessing my Father having a full on schizophrenic break with reality: Schizophrenia is the cancer of mental illness.


I witnessed a break at five years of age, however due to how our minds defend ourselves from childhood traumas much of those accounts are highly repressed and compartmentalized.



UPDATE : Prayers and medication have worked wonders. I believe the prayers and great energy and love given by those who read and responded and also to those who read and did not respond, yet still had an energetic charge toward the reading of my situations t{the variable} that changed the tide.


Do not get me wrong. Ziprasidone ( Geodon ) works wonders for BiPolar disorder as well as Schizoid cluster mental health disorders.







Before I shut the heck up and do not break my keyboard by espousing in an oratory manner the likes of which would make Mussolini feel as if he needs to brush up on his game; DOES anyone know of some NATURAL and HOLISTIC healing remedies that would not be contraindicatory to modern medication.


I.e., cannabis is great but would be contraindicatory. I am thinking along the lines of herbs and oils, tinctures and the likes. Perhaps something to rid one of bad halogens ?

Yeah -- suicide crossed my mind many times during the multiple hospitalizations. It is a complete invasion of the body snatchers.


The biggest give away is always in the eyes. The patient in this case my dads eyes get this... glossy and red look to them. I immediately know that it is happening at that point.


Yep once they think about a delusion once, the individual is locked into a train of delusional thought that if confronted with logic further exacerbates their delusional, paranoid or thinking of grandeur... or all of the above.


Catatonic Schizophrenia is very sad as well. The individual is very paranoid, having flight of ideas and speech but only internally. The imbalance of dopamine makes the catatonic seem as if he or she is brain dead.



My ex girlfriend around the ways mother was a catatonic schizophrenia and ended up passing due to a lack of ability to really treat the disease.

P.S., I wouldn't say zombie but I would say a thief is more apt to describe what it feels like when someone who is loved develops a schizoid cluster disorder.


It's like that person has been stolen and one so yearns to have their father back. I just wanted my dad back.




He is doing so well. Thank you all so much once again. I am here to speak about this topic for as long as people reply to this thread,

because as much as this thread got me through some very lonely tough days in which I was learning to be a parent for my parent I would be an asshole to not extend the same amount of care and love for anyone who wants to have a conversation.

Crying about this. It's criminal that so much in our environment contributes to these problems and now it's full on mandates for even more poison. I have been aware of gut health being central to mental health for more than twenty years. FILTERING water is just a baby step. I went so far as to buy a farm situated near a huge aquifer of some of the best water in the country, and I have to say my clarity and health were off the charts. I almost got a little crazy as in not drinking coffee from places that didn't filter but it really is important. I am crying because I have known so much about this since maybe 96 when I started working as a writer for an environment communications program. When I realized it was funded by entities that were just trying to control the narrative I bailed and went freelance for a couple of years. This is not a game, it is life and death. I hope your father gets better. The strongest man I know, a badass tobacco farmer and genius, just died in the last 24 hours because he was ventilated. I am devastated. He was my don't worry if shit hits the fan he has hundreds of acres and ancient machines and grows his own food, hemp and tobacco and moonshine too. It's a great loss for his entire community. He was the lynchpin. I wish I could share a picture of him... suspenders, dress shirts with the sleeves cut off, salt of the earth...

My son developed schizophrenia seemingly overnight at 27. He took his life after only a few months. I have said a prayer for the lord to send my son, Sam, to watch over and assist your father and yourself. God bless you and your dad.

Please check out this documentary, I wish I had before I lost my son. Diet with emphasis on niacin was found to have long term positive effects to relapse symptoms.
