They are praying for the false prophet, the anomaly/nobody/antichrist to come save them as it did before. As mentioned before, Quarantine was lifted in 2012, so there has been intervention. That means, protecting humanoids suspected to be Domain IS-BE's and also persecution of member of the "Old Empire" that broke contract. There will be no False Prophet/Anomaly/Nobody. There is no Anomaly, or Nobody, or Anti-Christ. The Quarantine that was lifted back in 2012 ensured this.
