NO restrictions were put into place in this time.
About 4 million tourists were coming to NZ p.a. at the time.
3 months is quarter of a year.
Therefore about a million tourists came through unchecked, many from Chyna, not to mention NZers returning/leaving from other places.
26 (?) deaths.
Herd immunity has been here since then.

There were a few "leaks" suggesting apparently NZ would go back into hard lockdown in August.

I've been following the online news sites to look for any curated pieces that would allude to the government getting things in order. Whether that be news of potential outbreaks, strange stuff going on or something out of the norm.

These things have happened recently.

Google has said they are upgrading their presence in NZ. Full refurbish of their headquarters here.

Google have said they plan on having one of their engineering teams relocate to live and work in New Zealand, to work on a secret AI/Privacy project...

Larry Page was allowed into the country for "a sick kid" it was announced he wasn't a resident when the enquiry started, but then now he is. Billionaires do what they want so no suprises there.

Anyway here is where it gets a bit more depressing.

For the first time since I can remember there are rolling power outages... the excuse was that too much demand on power.. however winters have been getting more and more mild, so it doesn't add up.

Again another excuse to get people that depend on always on power to get their generators ready.

Next my wife works in childcare and they got a broadcast email from the government asking who would potentially be able to be emergency care providers if we went into a hard level 4 lockdown.

This has never been requested before..


Some serious SHTF is going down soon and it all smells a bit fuky to me.

Well NZ has always been a test ground for new tech.. 3G and wireless data was used here first.

Its a pretty progressive UN nation with our horrid PM announcing she has built agenda 2030 into her National policy...

Wouldnt suprise me if the secret google project is a roll out of the chip here for testing.

Pretty much all the power to the North island is delivered by underwater cable from the hydro generators in the south .

Not just New Zealand, loads of countries are either in shit because of the virus or simply because society is breaking down. We are near the end for sure and I don’t think it is far away. Rolling blackouts (or brown-outs) are so that western countries can sneak their Kyoto protocol limits in through the back door.

If there was a MASSIVE shortfall of energy so they could not keep the grid up it would make no sense for them to push electric cars on the human herd.

well thats the fucky thing about it here, they are pushing hard for electric, but we just dont have the infrastructure to support them, unless the, cough, "foreign" owned geothermal plant at wairaki goes nuclear :D ( it already is, they make H30 heavy water there and have done for nearly 60 years, hence the waikato being a radioactive river

Interesting fact. The only other thing I can think of is that they want to eliminate gas and diesel so that people can ONLY drive electric.

That way they can control when and how much you drive.

Damn near impossible to do that with gas and diesel.
